In order to get more accurate results, our search has the following Google-Type search functionality:
If you use '+' in front of a word, then that word will be present in the search results.
ex: Harry +Potter will return results with the word 'Potter'.
If you use '-' in front of a word, then that word will be absent in the search results.
ex: Harry -Potter will return results without the word 'Potter'.
If you use 'AND' between two words, then both of those words will be present in the search results.
ex: Harry AND Potter will return results with both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
If you use 'OR' between two words, then bth of those words may or may not be present in the search results.
ex: Harry OR Potter will return results with just 'Harry', results with just 'Potter' and results with both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
If you use 'NOT' before a word, then that word will be absent in the search results.
ex: Harry NOT Potter will return results without the word 'Potter'.
Placing '""' around words will perform a phrase search. The search results will contain those words in that order.
ex: "Harry Potter" will return any results with 'Harry Potter' in them, but not 'Potter Harry'.
Using '*' in a word will perform a wildcard search. The '*' signifies any number of characters. Searches can not start with a wildcard.
ex: Pot*er will return results with words starting with 'Pot' and ending in 'er'. In this case, 'Potter' will be a match.

OverviewDental Office Administration is a comprehensive resource that details the responsibilities of the dental office professional, providing practical communication techniques and tips for problem solving. It also provides the necessary clinical background information every dental office professional needs for a successful practice. Hands-on activities within the text require students to practice common tasks, such as dental charting, writing a memo, or conducting a mock telephone call with another student. There is a free bonus DVD-ROM for Windows that includes practice management software called 'DENTRIXG4 practice management' to give students 'real world' experience managing patient data and filing electronic claims. This title features a companion Website that includes the full text and a quiz bank. Full Product DetailsAuthor: Geraldine S. The language usage is appropriate and the authors include common language used in dental offices everyday. I like this because it prepares the student for employment. The level of writing and explanation of ethical and legal terms is the best I have seen with regard to this level of student. Most ethical texts are written at a higher college/university level and difficult for the first year college vocational student to understand. Also, I like that both US and Canadian terms and information are used. Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
